Our ceremony starts at 2:00 PM at Red Rock Canyon National Reserve. It will be held specifically at the Visitor Center inside the park near the entrance.
If you plan on driving yourself to the venues thus not needing our transportation vendor, you may do so. Just please let us know when you RSVP. We only have 5 free vehicle passes for guests.
If we run out of vehicle passes, please note that there is a one-time $20/per vehicle fee at the park entrance (unless you already pay for the yearly U.S. National Park pass, then it’s free provided you show your ID). Parking may be limited near and around the Visitor Center once inside the park.
The ceremony will only take 10-15 min. It will be held in an outdoor auditorium behind the Visitor Center. There are concrete seats under shade where you can choose to sit or stand while we say our “I do’s.”
We’ll take about 120 minutes after the ceremony to toast with champagne + take couple pictures and photos with family and friends.
It’s a beautiful countryside with an amazing view of the Red Rock mountains. So please stick around, mingle, and take all of the pictures you want with your family. You’re welcome to walk around the Visitor Center or out to more remote areas near the entrance of the park.
Our provided transportation will plan to leave around 3:30 PM, where we will all head over to the reception venue together.

After the ceremony + pictures, we’ll plan to transport back to the reception venue around 3:30 PM to be there for our 4:00 PM start time.
The reception is at a third-party vendor location named, A Simple Affair. It will be held completely indoors (yay air-conditioning) located in Suite 2 of a large shopping center with a parking lot. You can easily find it by spotting its large double barn door entrance.
We are planning to have a custom Mexican cuisine. It will be a very non-traditional, down-to-Earth, buffet-style setting. Simply grab what you see and pick a seat anywhere (we aren’t planning on assigned seating; there will be enough seats for everyone who RSVPs).
If you have any food allergies or preferences, please let us know when you RSVP so we can accommodate you.
We are planning to have a cash bar to make the night more fun! More details on pricing and beverages to come.
If you have a drink preference, please let us know.
We are planning to have a DJ to help pump up the night. The reception will be very non-traditional, but Cam and I may want to do at least one single bride/groom dance together. Other than that, it’s all bodies on the floor. No questions asked. Feel free to request songs via the DJ directly.
More details to come on a potential photo booth backdrop + games to play with family and friends.
There is no reliable cell reception out at the Red Rock Canyon. You can Uber it there, but you might not be able to get back!
Whether you are driving into town or flying, please meet us at the A Simple Affair (reception venue) parking lot by 1:15 PM. We’ll make sure to have enough transportation (bus or sprinter vans) to get everyone to the park for the ceremony.
If you need transportation to & from your hotel, please let us know when you RSVP so we can let our transport vendor know to accommodate you.

October is Vegas’s driest month and is a time when it starts to get a little cooler (typically mid 70s F - high 80s F). You still want to dress for the desert. Think layers, since it can be warm in the afternoon and cooler once the sun goes down. Comfortable shoes are a must; depending if we venture away from the Visitor Center after the ceremony to take pictures… the site has some uneven, natural terrain.
We don’t want you to have to go out of your way to purchase a new outfit for our wedding, but would love it if you want to stay in theme!
For parents, groomsmen and bridesmaids it’s more important for you to stay with our desert, boho theme. Especially if we’re going to spend time taking pictures. Think non-traditional, natural desert landscape colors: cream, terracotta, shades of browns, tans with some Earthy tints of green.
For questions, comments, concerns {all the above; but try to keep my stress to a minimum :) }, please reach out to Lauren:
Myself and the wedding planners we’re working with are happy to help with anything that may not be covered here.
Elementary school: He was too shy to say hi. 2020: He finally figured it out. Here we are ;)
